These are boxes I have found.  They include not only regular letter boxes, but also mystery boxes, hitch hikers, and event stamps.  The boxes are arranged in order by region, so if you are going into a particular area, you can see what might be there.

Ice Age Series by Divine Lotus
Found: Haycock Mountain, Perkasie, PA on July 13, 2006

This fantastic series of boxes is hidden on Haycock Mountain, basically a giant pile of rocks in Upper Bucks County just across the road from Nockamixon State Park.  I headed up there one morning, and even though I was early, it was already hot and nasty.  I came back down sweaty, dirty, smelly, but with five of the seven stamps and ready to try again sometime.

Box 1: Doedicurus
Box 2: Woolly Mammoth
Box 3: Saber-toothed Cat
Box 4: Woolly Rhinoceros (not found)
Box 5: Giant Sloth (not found)
Box 6: Merriam’s Teratorn
Box 7: Irish Elk

Play on Perspective by Hikers and Hounds
Found: Tinicum State Park, Erwinna, PA on May 8, 2005

Another box I found on the way back from boxing in the Lehigh Valley (there are so many boxes up there).  There were originally two boxes in the series, and I did manage to find the second box, but it was totally waterlogged, so I pulled it and returned it to Hikers and Hounds.

Reading and Berks
Boxes found in Reading and Berks County.

After the -- --- .-. ... . / -.-. --- -.. . by Jan of Team Little Dog

First Finder.  Quick box in a unique location.

Angelica Angel by Jan of Team Little Dog
Found: Angelica Lake Park, Reading, PA on October 26, 2005

First Finder!  A nice quick little box, though I think the image looks more like a fairy then an angel.

Laura's Childhood Luvs - Garfield Letterbox by Jan of Team Little Dog
Found: Nolde Forest EEC, Reading, PA on October 26, 2005

I wish I had more then just my black inkpad with me.  Nice stamp, and this is a great park.

Little Stinker by Jan of Team Little Dog
Found: Blue Marsh Lake, Reading, PA on November 8, 2005

How is it I manage to do boxes backwards???  I did this one in that way.  I managed to find the wrong side of the trail loop but still find the box because the clues actually worked the same in both directions.  Sometimes I amaze even myself.

Pateke from New Zealand by Jan of Team Little Dog
Found: Nolde Forest EEC, Reading, PA on April 19, 2005

First Finder!  OK, I cheated for this one.  I know the park very well and was able to backtrack on this box and get it in about 10 minutes.  Great stamp though, created by Team Psychokiwi from New Zealand, along with a hand made logbook.

Lehigh Valley
Lehigh Valley area boxes that I have found.  These include boxes around Allentown.

Allentown Rose Garden by Lightnin' Bug
Found: Allentown, PA on December 3, 2005

Ironton Rail Trail Series by Lightnin' Bug
Found:
Coplay, PA on December 3, 2005

Jan of Team Little Dog and I spent a morning getting several of the boxes in the Lehigh Valley area.  This was a nice series, with an easy but longer walk, which I insisted we do, although we could have driven to each of the boxes.

Jukebox Life Lessons #10 - YMCA and In The Navy by Sprite and Highlander
Found:
Allentown, PA on May 8, 2005

First Finder! Placed in an interesting location, but not too hard to find.  Like so many boxes, I ended up making a wrong turn but still managed to find the box.

Lenapi Museum by Lightnin' Bug
Found:
Allentown, PA on May 8, 2005

One of many boxes I got that day.  I was with Lightnin' Bug at the time, it was only around the corner from his home.  This box is now retired.

Found: Schnecksville, PA on December 3, 2005

Found with Jan of Team Little Dog.  Nice little hike going up hill most of the way.  It is located in a wildlife preserve, and we saw many deer as well as some turkey on the hike.  There is also a zoo here, though it was closed when we were here.

Drive By, Bye-Bye Series by Energizer Bunnie
Found: Gaithersburg-Germantown, MD on January 30, 2005

This series was found along with Hikers & Hounds the day after the winter gathering in Washington, DC.  We attempted to find all of the boxes, but could only come up with three of them.

Box 2: Fly-by (not found)
Box 3: Good-Bye
Box 4: Bye-Bye

I-81 Mason Dixon Drive-by by Hikers and Hounds
Found: Just below the Mason-Dixon Line, MD on October 15, 2005

Quick find, you just have to watch for traffic.

DC Area
These are the boxes found inside the Beltway.

Virginia
You guessed it, boxes in Virginia but outside the DC Beltway

Iron Furnace by Family Man
Found: Waterlick, VA on December 7, 2005

This was another box that I managed to get by doing it completely backwards.  I couldn't find Elizabeth's Furnace on the map, so I was going to skip this one, until I saw a sign on the road.  I skidded around the corner and drove along this icy back road until I can across a cabin, which happened to be the cabin at the end of the clues, by the road.  OK, I walked down and figured out where I was with no problem.  If you do this the right way you end up going across a cool suspension bridge.

The Civil War-- Action at Rutherford's Farm by Koyote
Found: Winchester, VA

On my way to Tennessee I did a whole bunch of drive-by boxes just off the highway.  This one was planted along one of Virginia's Civil War Trails at a little known site.  Excellent stamp, though it did not scan quite as well.

The Table by Family Man
Found: Maurertown, VA

A nice little box in a nice little community park.

If it is below the Mason-Dixon line and has not been mentioned, it would be found here.
